Sunday, February 23 2-4:00 PM Introduction to Rifle & Pistol, Kankakee (inside range) The shooting sports program instills a love of outdoor sportsmanship while it teaches safe and responsible handling and use of firearms. Pick one or all of the disciplines 4-H offers: archery, shotgun, rifle, pistol, and hunting and outdoor skills. During this workshop, youth will learn about how to handle rifles and pistols safely, how to aim and control their breathing and more! They will have the opportunity to shoot both rifles and pistols. ***REGISTRATION through the University of Illinois Extension website is REQUIRED to attend this event. |
