Good morning all! Three more hatched overnight. I wasn't sure if one was going to make it but it did! There are 3 brown ones that we didn't think were viable as of day 12 so that's not a surprise. There's one more brown one in the incubator that hasn't pipped so probably not viable either. We'll give it another day...

If the last brown egg doesn't hatch (not expected to), we will have 20 of 24​ chicks.  That's a 83.33% hatch rate!  Nice.

Here is some additional data:

The white eggs are LEGHORNS.  The brown eggs are 
a cross with our Pure Columbian line and New Hampshire line cross with Pure Columbian line and New Hampshire line.  More details...

Brown eggs 8 of 12 hatched for a 66.66% hatch rate
White eggs 12 of 12 hatched for a 100% hatch rate
